9:30 pm – Georgian Bay (www.georgianbayband.com)
Georgian Bay is the musical collaboration of Joëlle Westman and Kelly Lefaive, which grew out of a mutual desire to explore the beautiful possibilities of bilingual music. Inspired by the Bay, this duo’s music is grounded in nature, soundscapes and storytelling.  In October 2014 they released their first album Horizons, which received critical acclaim and has attracted airplay on CBC radio and other media. This unique cover band will attract the eyes and ears of many generations.  Who doesn't want to see covers of vintage Neil Young and Crazy Horse pulled straight out of the 1970's?  Especially when Toronto indie rocker to-be-legends of the 1990's are smashing them out? Will Kidman & Dallas Wehrle of THE CONSTANTINES join Justin Small of DO MAKE SAY THINK for a wild ride!

See you at 3030 and The Caddy!

February News

We are so excited to be producing CHR for WOMEN: A Benefit Concert Series to help women struggling with poverty and abuse. Our first show is just two weeks away at 3030 Dundas West! We are truly blessed to have such an amazing line up:

9:30 pm – Taylor & Bryn (www.taylorandbryn.com)
Taylor & Bryn's live shows are high-energy infusions of melody, wit, soaring harmonies, sophisticated guitar parts, and beat-boxing harmonica. They took 1st place in 2014’s Ontario-wide Landmark Events Showcase Competition and are releasing their EP in 2015, produced by Glen Robinson (The Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, etc.).
10:00 pm – Crooked House Road (www.crookedhouseroad.com)
Known for rich harmony, powerful vocalists and honest storytelling, folk/blues band Crooked House Road has been growing a steady following in their hometown of Toronto since their inception in late 2013.  They will be releasing their self-titled debut album in May 2015, produced by Juno winning and Grammy nominated producer Ken Whiteley.

11:00 pm – Jane’s Party (www.janesparty.com)
Jane’s Party have had multiple national tours as well as support slots for Sam Roberts Band, Lights, Wintersleep, Matt Mays, Kathleen Edwards, and many others.  They recently finished recording their third LP at Lost Cause studio, with Greg Keelor (Blue Rodeo) producing the record.

I had a small world moment when I realized that I went to university with members of both other bands of the night!

I am especially honoured to be raising awareness and funds for THE REDWOOD: a shelter that helps women and children struggling against domestic abuse. Their work is so vital and I am in awe of what they do. Visit their website at: www.theredwood.com.
